Hi, Danielle, come on in. Thank you. The Installer is charged with going into our subscribers homes and facilitating the installation of their equipment and getting their service initiated. And this is what you’ll do if you ever need help. They are the face of Lifeline; they are what the customer sees first. What they really do is train and help the customer to understand that we’re there 24/7. Even though we all work towards the same mission and goal, which is to improve the lives in health and well being of the subscriber, I get to see it. We hope you never have to use it, but it’s a great service to have. That’s true. Deliver great results. Service Activation Team, David speaking. How may I help you? We get the orders that are coming from our sales dept and we have a system that is called Saturn. It’s a database that auto-assigns the work orders to the installers. We also follow up on the orders when they are assigned. Capable, caring and committed. I believe at the core of Philips Lifeline is that we care. I would say it’s a spirits thing you know have to have the right spirit. It’s not a technical position it is really a service and support position. So we are looking for people that have that empathy, that acute sensitivity. The week of training is paid time. The concept is that people leave with a high level of confidence in their ability to be engaging with their new position. We would say, “Margaret, Do you need help?” Delight Customers. As long as you have a good heart and you want to help people the other stuff comes easy. It’s so rewarding to know that you encourage somebody, that you give them a smile; it makes a difference in their life. That’s the best thing about my job. Even though I am out in the field there is so much support back here. I feel that I’m a part of the company every single day. What I like is the people; you walk down the hall and you see somebody walks by you and says, “Hi.” It gives you that friendly feeling that you are in the right place. A lot of people don’t realize how big Philips is, it makes me feel like I am part of something that is really important, really big and much larger than myself. Philips Lifeline is a great organization. You can join a fantastic team of people that share one single passion; making a difference in people’s lives every day. I want to work and help people as long as I possibly can. I truly believe that this is my calling. I love my job. At the end of the day we are leaving people better than we found them and it doesn’t get any better than that.
