Video Transcript:
There's a good percentage of the LDP alumni that are at director and above level. I am Shizuka Suzuki, Senior Business Development Manager and an LDP alum at AT&T. I attended business school at Pepperdine University and AT&T had actually come to recruit. The Leadership Development Program is the feeder program to coming onboard into general management at AT&T. Ultimately with AT&T the most appealing factor for me was that I was signing on for a career rather than just a job. It's about a two and a half year program and we have three rotations. It was an amazing experience because it touches the core parts of the business. Hi I'm Hakim Majied, Area Manager of Mobility Operations, graduate of the LDP program at AT&T. I did my undergrad at Florida A&M. I decided to go back and get my MBA. The Leadership Development Program provides exposure in operations, marketing or finance and then a larger general management role. It was exposure, constant feedback, constant communication with other leaders. The quality of people that you will be working for and being mentored by is very high. The program has been around for many years so there's definitely a great track record. It's a fantastic set of resources that will develop you as a leader from a business perspective, but also develop you as a person. I really can't think of any other place where you're given this type of experience within the first couple years of coming out of school. There's so many opportunities at AT&T.
