ALTEP Program is one of a kind I must say. When I was in college I did undergo an internship with another company one of our competitors and this is something completely different. It's not an internship it's not an apprenticeship it's an entry level position to get you in your spot at the facility that you're hiring for. You are a full time employee with the company you get paid vacation you have all kinds of health benefits as well as a check. The program is set up with the various rotations coming to the site my facility had all rotations within itself main thing was it let you see different aspects of each department within the facility as far as ID division maintenance department as well AirLiquide really does drive safety and is one of the safest plants I know around. And being a newcomer in the industry I don't really have that much experience to have the confidence to go out there and work without feeling like I might get hurt I might do the wrong thing I might lose my job do to lack of experience and so the ALTEP program really does stress on that you're working diligently with someone to have the confidence later on to be there by yourself it kind of makes you more warmed up to what you're doing who you're working with and how it all plays a part in the process. If you're a young guy like myself coming out of college I would definitely say look first at AirLiquides programs that they offer they actually will take more of a chance on you being young and out of school versus a lot of other companies one difference is they're not gonna expect you to know so much as other ones might they'll help you develop your career path in their company.
