Video Transcript:
My name is Marc Johnson, I'm Vice President of GSD Operations at Goodman. We have branches across the country, United States and Canada. And we deliver direct to our contractors, our customers. Typically for our branch managers is what I call the toughest but best job in the company. They're on the front lines and they typically start early. Their primary ROW is revenue generation. Everyone at Goodman is a sales person. Successful branch managers are on the front lines. They're on the counters; they're in our ware houses. Engaging our customers, making sure things are going as expected. Engage our employees, our associates, in a positive way. Get them, you know, from entry level to be a premiere customer associate. Understanding each one of those roles, whether it's a driver or a warehouse person. And how they interact with our customers. All that rolled into one role it makes up the branch manager. You come on as a branch manager trainee; you're going to stay enrolled in that program from about twelve to twenty-four months. That's to make sure that you get a good foundation and grounding on your training. Once you demonstrate competence in those key areas, you have the opportunity to become a full on branch manager. That means you get to have your own house, you have your own branch, and you're calling the shots. The career path here is really unbelievable.
