Video Transcript:
FSA Federal is a government contractor serving all components of law enforcement. We hire people in all 50 states, as well as Guam and Puerto Rico, in more than 30 diverse labor categories from Data Analysts to Civil Rights Investigators, Attorneys to Paralegals, CPAs, and Financial Investigators. Our primary clients include more than 16 components of law enforcement: the DEA, ATF, FBI, US Marshals, even Interpol. So, there's plenty of opportunity to make a big impact in our country. Working with the FBI has been very exciting. I have been involved in a lot of different projects and cases that the FBI has worked. You get to see a lot of interesting things come across your desk. It feels good to know that you've played a part. Many people will think that a lot of this is just paperwork and doesn't have a lot of real world value or meaning, But everything we do directly relates to the field. FSA is good for the agencies that they support because of the institutional knowledge that they bring, and the ways that they support their employees with training, and the way that they support their employees with being a contributor to the agency. All of the agents and law enforcement personnel directly rely on FSA's employees to accomplish the mission. That is something that I think the government component certainly recognizes and is critical to achieving the mission. FSA offers a rich employment opportunity that includes tuition reimbursement, certification programs, online training programs - even bonus programs. We have a great benefits package that includes healthcare, medical, dental, vision, long-term and short-term disability, and pretty much anything else you're looking for. Working with FSA, there's always room for growth. We encourage our employees to grow in their career. You might be hired as a Data Analyst, but after a couple of years you might decide to move to paralegal. We encourage that. You are given a lot of responsibility, you are treated as a member of the team at the component that you're assigned to. Your accomplishments and your willingness to work hard is recognized. I think it's good to also point out that part of FSA's approach is to hire both women and minorities. I think they do a great job of focusing on recruitment and retention of both of those groups. The application process with FSA was very transparent, very respectful of your time and your scheduling. While I was on the field in Germany, I was able to do the interview and I couldn't use my phone in Germany. So, it was hard talking to people. The interview online really helped me apply in a more streamlined way. It's a great place to pursue a career because you work with so many different people. So, it gives you a broader view of these different career paths. If you've ever thought about going into government contracting, FSA is a great place to start that career. We truly do make a difference in law enforcement, and we do provide a great service that's very important to day-to-day activities of our law enforcement personnel.
